A month ago we went to Venice to meet up with our friend Dajana to celebrate her birthday. As we didn't find any offer from our hometown local tourist agencies, we decided to organize the trip to Italy by ourselves. We caught last minute flight, found a very nice hostel nearby Venice old town and went with the flow. The best thing about Venice is their architecture, it is amazing and so photogenic! The second thing is gelato. A lot of gelato, especially pistachio ones.
About outfits that some of you have asked me, I was trying to keep it as simple as possible - I like pretty but comfy clothes, so I went with neutral tones and played mix and match with them. I've packed only two pairs of jeans - both high waists, one in a washed blue color and other black skinny jeans and also had one comfy, cotton/linen striped baggy pants. From tops, I've chosen long white linen shirt dress, a ruffle shirt in a beautiful, ashy pink color and two black basic shirts. As outwear, I was wearing long linen coat which was great during those chilly nights. Got only one dress, an amazing off-shoulder maxi model from H&M S/S 18 collection which goes great with my golden accessories. I've brought only 2 pairs of slippers, which was enough.
The only wish is that we could have stayed for longer, these three days went by so quickly that we didn't have time to visit beautiful Burano, but I will see you next time!
